Life Update

For the past three years, I have been working a full time job as a marketing professional for a regional kitchen and bath company based out of Omaha. I would work 40+ hours a week there,  and then would work on my Miranda Writes projects at night and on weekends. It was physically and mentally draining to be consumed with work.

Today, I walked away from that day job to pursue Miranda Writes full time. The weirdest part about making that decision was that I LOVED my marketing job and the special people that came with it. But when I look back on my life and tell my story, I knew that the job that sets my soul on fire is the one I should be invested in full time.

I want to say thank you to all of my sweet past clients that had to deal with void in email communication, odd hour phone calls, or pushed back deadlines because there was simply not enough time.

And to my future clients and brides, I am ecstatic to be making pretty things for you.

All My Best,

Miranda

Black + Dusty Rose

Just smitten with how these black on dusty rose envelopes for a spring wedding turned out. The wedding colors are dusty rose, cream, burgundy, and navy so these envelopes set the mood right away for their guests. I'll be sharing the entire invitation suite soon.

Calligraphy Thank You Notes

My favorite thing about designing wedding paper keeping the wedding's "brand" consistent throughout. It starts with Save the Dates, then onto invitations, which complement the day-of signage, and ends with the thank you notes. Check out Mr. and Mrs. Koley's thank-yous below.
